HIO Peer Evaluation

Hillsboro Airport, a regional reliever airport in the Portland metro area, will undergo its next master plan update in the next five years. To better scope costs, and identify airports in similar circumstances to HIO, I developed a weighted, thirteen criteria evaluation scale to locate peers with the most in common with HIO. The final report, presented to the division, identified several facilities not on the Port’s regular contact list, expanding the possibilities for future assessments.
